Taylor Lautner for ‘Twilight’ spinoff?
Taylor Lautner has revealed that he finds the idea of a Twilight spinoff to be intriguing.
Author Stephenie Meyer recently stated that she would consider writing a further story in the supernatural series about Jacob Black and Renesmee Cullen. Lautner spoke to MTV News about the possibility of reprising the role of Jacob in a future film adaptation.
“Breaking news to me here, live, on MTV, Josh Horowitz! What’s going on?” Lautner answered when asked about the potential movie.
However, the 19-year-old went on to state that he is not opposed to the idea of continuing the Twilight series.
“That would be interesting. Stephenie comes up with the craziest things. I’m sure she could go on. That’s a crazy thought,” he added.
Lautner recently revealed that he will be emotional at the end of the Twilight films, stating that he will probably cry.
The actor, who has previously said that he was unprepared for his Twilight fame, has revealed that he has accepted losing his privacy in order to be a movie star.

Taylor will be sad when Twilight ends
Wednesday’s 30-minute interview for “MTV First: Taylor Lautner” was pegged to Lautner’s highly anticipated first non-”Twilight” leading role in “Abduction,” but of course we had to bring up the fourth and fifth films in “The Twilight Saga” — specifically Lautner’s feelings about finishing up filming the epic and hugely popular franchise.
“We have a couple more days and it’s over — it’s a crazy thought,” Lautner said. “I think it’s mixed emotions, for sure,” he added, regarding his feelings on nearing the end of filming. “Half of me says, ‘This will be a relief. I get some time off, I get to spend some time with family and friends and do other things,’ but the other half says, ‘This is going to be so weird.’ I’ve been filming with these people for years, so it will definitely be a bummer. It will be sad on the last day,” he admitted.
When asked whether he thinks he and his fellow castmates will shed any tears when production officially wraps, Lautner admitted, “I think there will. Nobody will admit it right now, but I guarantee you there will be tears.”

“I’ll try and hold back,” he laughed.

Taylor Lautner Leading Role
Taylor Lautner will play as a character called Nathan in his first major leading role. The film called ‘Abduction’ is released in September and also stars Sigourey Weaver. 
Lautner recently revealed: ‘I love action, but the most important is the story. And the story behind this action thriller (Abduction) is amazing. 
The thriller centres around about a young man who finds out that his mother and father are not his ‘real parents’ when he accidentally sees his baby photo on a missing person’s website. Taylor’s heartthob status isn’t just good for his career – his love life is also flourishing. Last week he was seen on a date with actress Lily Collins, the daughter of singer Phil.
